Scientific Computing Associates pioneered the application of a virtual shared memory design strategy to the requirements of multiprocessor supercomputers and clusters of workstations or PCs. Within the software suite are programs that can be integrated or used separately to meet user needs. Proven applications include financial and risk analysis, computational chemistry and biotechnology, seismic analysis, electronic design (EDA), and computational fluid dynamics. The Scientific product suite supports C++, Fortran, and Java on platforms that include Windows, Windows NT, Unix, Linux, and clustering software like Beowulf. Commercial users Include Amerada-Hess, Lehman Brothers, Motorola, Intel, RIT, etc., as well as hundreds of academic institutions throughout the world.
